Hubs and I got to spend a few short days at the beach with last weekend while Mom and Nana were kind enough to stay with Red.
It was a trip that was panicked with work glaring at us from both the beginning and the end of vacation, with Hubs pulling some 6am-10:30am mornings full of work so he could spend some time with all of us on the beach. But with the help of 2 other best friend couples, we relaxed, ate, celebrated a birthday or two, and got a full morning of beach sun in between cloudy afternoons.
We held our annual rib-off, which is another story to itself, full of really good food. I mean really really good food. Take a look at some shots I brought back!

Thanks – now that it’s far passed, I hate that we don’t have another vacation for a long time. Even a staycation would be helpful, but Hubs NEVER stops working!
