I’ve had a blast with the boys this week. Visiting a playplace, double dinners, double bathtime, twice as many coloring sessions, snacktimes and wagon rides. They kept me busy and on my toes. As I was disciplining one from climbing on the kitchen table, I headed straight into the hallway bathroom to make sure the other wasn’t spooling all the TP off the roll. It’s been that kind of week.

A wonderful week. A busy, tiring, joyful and heartwarming week. E’s dad came to visit for an entire weekend, which meant a double date for the grownups and even more daddy-son time for both of the kids. These little guys have gone from unsure, forced roomies to buddies in crime.
We still have some time to enjoy our housemates, and I couldn’t ask for more gracious, helpful houseguests. The boys still occasionally fight over a toy, and for not even being 2 years old are trying to share, battle for Mama time and are picking up each other’s good and bad habits. This all makes for a very enriching few weeks.
Since my shows are over for a while, I’m down to one project while I chase these monkeys around the house – I’m getting less done than I had planned. What are your tips for multiples? (Even ones that aren’t related?!)
