Last Tuesday, we went to go visit a little furry girl. A kitty girl. Rescued by a friend’s mom, this little lady was thrown out by her previous owners because they moved. Why would you go to the length of fixing and microchipping a cat when you didn’t want her anymore?!
She was left to fend for herself during a 2 week stint in the rain before Lisa found her. I’ve been a cat person all my life, but since I am only one person in a house of 3, I was biding my time before I got a little kitty! The stars seemed to align…
We took her home to see if she was a good fit for the family, first staying in the bathroom and socializing several times a day with breaks in between. It turns out kitty is still a little kitten, just recently turning 1, and you can tell once you meet her in person. She’s spunky, sweet and playful. But before you go thinking she’s like every other kitten out there, know that she sits still in my arms and lets me cut her nails, all in one go!
Dooley is learning to sit with her, and not chase her around. Kitty is getting much more used to everyone, preferring to sit in the living room and observe the chaos!
…or at least check out what’s happening outside.
and at night, kitty likes to read with me. Now we just need to name her! Any thoughts?!

Cute! And BTW, I am simply loving your blog look now. Featuring little Red is the best thing ever.
