One of my favorite stores in the whole world to shop for Red is The Giraffe’s Treehouse. Located on Roswell Road in Marietta, Georgia, the store carries the cutest clothing lines like MudPie, Banana Split, Zucchini, and Livie & Luca Shoes. I first started shopping there before it even opened. Nonna and I were on our way to Hancock Fabrics, commissioning a dress for Nonna. We passed by a window display full of UGA themed baby smocked gear, and we were hooked. Red hadn’t even come out yet! The nice lady working in the store to set up let us sneak in for a moment to look around before the big Grand Opening that weekend.
Several months later, Nonna and I have each bought several outfits for Red. Which he promptly outgrew… so we got some more. The Giraffe’s Treehouse has so many cute options and styles for babies (and toddlers) of all sizes from newborn past 6. (Except those of adult size. Which is really a shame, because some of those outfits are CUTE).

Red still has several outfits from the store – like this one! A MudPie creation, size 2T/3T, this little giraffe motif reminds me not only of the store, but also of Sophie the Giraffe. I love the kistchy fabrics, sweet appliques, and the overal unique nature of the clothing. Everything I’ve bought, including this outfit machine washes and dries like a dream. If you get a little green beans or formula on your outfit, a little stain stick fixes that. Mama friendly AND play friendly.
