A @LttleGreenPouch Review & Giveaway

Disclaimer: I was given a 4 pack of Little Green Pouches to help facilitate my review. No other compensation was received.

Have you ever packed up your diaper bag or child-tote only to end up tossing lots of snack packaging or fumbling with bulky food storage? As a family, we have gone through hundreds of throw-away packages, and every time something can’t be recycled or reused, I find myself cringing.  Granted, I’m not the greenest of the green, but I enjoy finding ways to alter our lifestyle to become a greener family.
Little Green Pouch is helping our family along to that goal.  Packing a school lunch for Red twice a week, combined with our on-the-go lifestyle, means I like to have travel ready snacks and meal supplements in our bag.  The 6oz pouches have a heavy duty  zip top, and it’s stronger than even the name brand baggies you find in the store. They are splatter and accident proof! The strong BPA free spout is easy to suck from, and the cute little backs offer measuring help, reheating instructions (bowl of warm water) and a place for a label.  Sure, you can sharpie something on there, like a name, or you can spring for the super cute dissolvable labels!
Red has a become a very picky eater in the last month, but applesauce and yogurt remain favorites. He took tentatively to the first pouch, but on our second day of use, he cried for more when it was empty.  He was very happy to be able to feed himself with great success.  When we get another blender (ours died) I’m going to make some strawberry smoothies!
Our Little Green Pouches make it so easy to pack a lunch or take some snack on the go – we are really in love with these! I can pull a prepped one from the fridge and serve with lunch at home, and after putting in the dishwasher, can say that they really do come out squeaky clean with no residue.  They pop in and out of the freezer (baby foods!!) and are Red-squish tested.
Here’s your chance to win a 4 pack of your very own courtesy of Little Green Pouch. I’m headed over to the website, myself, to order another set, and a mini-funnel for loading.

I used to puree all of my daughter’s baby food and back in those days, she ate all of her veggies. Now she won’t touch a vegetable unless it’s pureed and in a pouch. But they are really pricey and I’d love something reusable that I can fill with my own creations!!

That’s something I never thought about – Red is not really a fruit eater, so I’m using these to inject more fruit into his diet!

Pouches are my favorite way to get veggies in my little guy. We have no problems getting him to eat fruit, but meat and veggies are a challenge. The pouches are fun, so he’s willing to eat the foods that he normally pushes away.

Darn it! I missed it! I like the shape of this pouch, I like where the “spout” is. Aren’t these things such a great invention!?
