Dude, ya’ll – it’s been a whole YEAR since our last vacation. 4 days of bliss on the beach, while Mom watches Red (THANK YOU, MOM!).
It’s stressful to make time for a vacation – we’re so busy. Most vacations end up getting cancelled due to work, anyway. How do we even maintain our sanity at this level!?!? So, we’re packing it up for 4 days out to Florida.
…. but Hubs is bringing his computer and his phone and the rest of it. I’m sure that he’ll try to participate in as much as he can, but let’s face it; I’ll be on my own with the girls on the beach for most of the weekend. It’s frustrating to understand, and part of me wants to have a little inner tantrum because this is ALWAYS what happens. Hubs works himself near to death.
At least we have a cruise planned in the next 6 months were there will be NO telecommunications at all for an entire week. At least a girl can dream!
