Eighteen Month Favorites for Baby

Your little one isn’t so little anymore! Running, talking, playing, and you’re already thinking about ditching those diapers for good! Potty training starts around this age for many children, so include this royal potty as you start thinking about favorite items for your 18 month old baby. Toddler-dom is only a few months away!
1. KEEN Sandal 2. Charmin Freshmates Wipes 3. OshKosh Essential Jeans
4. Annie’s Cheddar Bunnies 5.  Fisher-Price Royal Potty 6. Step2 WaterWheel Activity Play Table

1. KEEN Sandal – these awesomely waterproof sandals are PERFECT for spring and summer.  Airy enough for those hot days, but with a back strap and a hard toe, these sandals protect little running feet from danger.  These some in a few varieties, and as many colors as you can shake a stick at.  Well worth the price, since they double as sandals AND water shoes.  Red’s feet are very wide, and the regular width fits him like a glove.

2. Charmin Freshmates Wipes – Potty training can be messy.  And when you have a wipe full of… well… you know, the trash isn’t a very appetizing place to set it.  Charmin fresh wipes are completely flushable, fresh and get your baby’s bottom as clean as a baby wipe, being just as gentle.  Try one for yourself!
3. OshKosh Essential Jeans – Not available from any other retailer, these awesome, totally affordable jeans feature an elastic waistband (perfect for crawling, running and climbing).  They wash and wear better than ANY other brand out there, and are slightly long so that as the seasons pass, they continue to fit!  The fit is true to toddler sizing.

4. Annie’s Cheddar Bunnies – Red’s favorite snack, hands down.  My picky weirdo eater has turned down cheez its in favor of these crackers, just because of the shape. But I like the fact that they are all natural and are organic!

5. Fisher-Price Royal Potty – When Red started potty training, this potty was our best friend. It features a song whenever your toddler successfully uses the potty, and comes completely apart in seconds for easy cleaning.  The seat can attach to a regular toilet for potty transitions.  The only downside? Red is a bigger kid, so his little booty just fits on the potty, and there’s no wiggle room for business.
6. Step2 WaterWheel Activity Play Table – This fabulous table was given to Red as a gift, and came with some extra fun scoops, a waterwheel and boats.  You can either fill it with water for a clean (literally) fun session, or alternatively scoop some play sand into it for colder weather play.

Oh boy, you started potty training early. I have 2 boys and they are a little slower in that department, so I didn’t start until they were much older.

5,6 and 2 are the best! I started potty training at around 18 months.. of course my daughter is almost 3 and has not mastered it but at least she knows what to do when I sit her on the toilet. It is hard but one day she will get it. Often times… she is just too busy 😉

So cute! I’m so impressed that the potty is one of your favorites when he’s only 18 months old. I was so on top of pottying with my older son, but have procrastinated slightly with my little one. He just turned two, and we still haven’t begun potty training. It’s in the plans this week!
