This weekend, we did a whole bunch of nothing, and it was wonderful. We laid on the couch, ate breakfast at our favorite haunt and strolled around the local farmers market for some yummy goods. There was nowhere to be, no appointments to be met… and we so needed a break! The only real activity we had was hauling our potato butts off the couch for a run each day.
Next door, at our neighbor’s house, some kittens are coming of age for adoption. One is staying with the homeowners, but the other two are looking for homes… I desperately want to take one home, but with one husband, one kid, one dog and one cat, our quota is about full. Maybe I can foster the sweet little booger until one of you adopt him? There are two orange and white males and a calico female. and they are SO SWEET. 5 weeks old, and being handled every day so that they are kind around humans.
Red was elated that he could hold the little kitten by himself and it didn’t run away. We even took video of the kitten perched on my neck like a little feline shoulder parrot and got some extremely blurry photos of Red’s ear to ear grin. Man, that kid can move fast!!
So…. anyone for a sweet sweet little kitten?!?!
