Whenever Nonna and T visit, we get really excited. Red gets to talk to them often on Facetime, even though they currently live out-of-state. Oh, the way he grins when he sees me get the application out. (Self: Please get a photo of that!)
A while back, Nonna and T visited for a weekend, and we showed off Red’s new party trick: he can clap AND make a noise while doing it! He likes to hear the ABCs being sung, as well as to chant patty-cake. He started to clap, and I caught the tail end of it on my phone. We just let him go for it, clapping to T in Nonna’s lap, and listening to himself make sounds with his hands.
In the past two weeks, he claps everyday – mostly to music or us singing songs, but also when he gets really excited. Sweet boy.
