The 5 Best Disney Snacks

If you’re headed to Walt Disney World Resort for vacation, work, or any combination of the two, you’re bound to get hungry.  I declare a mandatory daily snack break!  Seek out my top 5 best Disney snacks to make your tummy and your tongue both happy.  These snacks are available in the parks, at Disney Springs and sometimes event resort eateries.  Happy Snacking!

5 Best Walt Disney World Resort Snacks

Churros

YUM! The original snack stick, Walt Disney World Resort churros and sprinkled with goodness and waiting for you in Frontierland.  You can find the churro carts across from the Diamond Horseshoe, and if you’re really hungry, take a few more steps down the line and pick up a Turkey leg, too!  The carts typically open up at 11am.  So if you can’t wait until then, you can also find churros in Hollywood Studios at various carts or fresh, authentic churros with caramel sauce in Epcot at La Cantina de San Angel.

Mickey Pretzel

Have you ever seen a cooler pretzel shape than THIS?! I prefer to snag my Mickey pretzels in Epcot, near Journey Into Imagination with Figment.  Then, when my belly is full, I can explore the science of the mind with my favorite Disney Dragon.  If you want a total treat, get a cup of cheese to dip your pretzel chunks into.

Mickey Ice Cream

My all time favorite ice cream snack! Classic Mickey Ice Cream bars aren’t the same anywhere else… Frozen, coated in milk chocolate, and a most satisfying snack break.  You can find these beauties at any of the Disney parks, at carts, pop-up pavilions and often in snack shacks.

Dole Whip

With or without rum, the Dole Whip is one of my favorite WDW snacks.  I can even tell you how to get one without buying a ticket to the parks!  Find this little baby at the Aloha Terrace in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland or journey over to Epcot during special festivals to find it at the pop-up locations, with a spiked version available.  Dole Whip: 5 Best Walt Disney World Resort Snacks

Fresh Fruit Waffle

I recently had this Nutella waffle for the first time, and I can tell you it was worth the wait.  I can also tell you that I scarfed one every day for three days it was so good.  Yes.  Easy to split for a snack, or a perfect carby-breakfast for one, you can find this treat at the Sleepy Hollow Inn in Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square (the same location you can get the BEST Disney souvenir EVER!)

I tend to be a savory snacker. So the thought of a Mickey pretzel with just the right amount of mustard is perfect for me!

I make sure to have ALL of these at least once when we go to Disney. Nobody does snacks like Disney. The Dole Whip is crazy good.

If you wanted to make my mouth water with this post you did. I’ll take one of everything please, but if I had to choose it’s the waffle all the way.

I showed that Mickey shaped pretzel to my hubs and now he wants to go to Disney just for that! I think he may already be booking tickets, lol

I feel silly admitting this, but I have never had a churro. I would definitely try one when visiting Disney.

The Dole whip is my favorite! I haven’t ever tried the fresh fruit waffle, but we don’t get to WDW often since Disneyland is so much closer.

So, every time we got to Disney I have to, at some time have a Dole Whip, a churro, and a Mickey ice cream bar. Now I have two more to try. Thanks!
Also, it was so good to see you there in October. Hope to catch you at an event in 2017!

Churros and the Mickey pretzels are my favorite. I can never get enough of them and usually, it is the first item in my itinerary every time we are at Disney. Snack first, tour later. 🙂
