Armpit Fudge: A FUN Dessert Recipe That’s Silly and Tasty!

Grab your friends, family, and scouts to create this giggle-inducing dessert recipe. Making Armpit Fudge is as weird as it sounds, but more delicious than you can imagine. Combine ingredients in a bag and mush it up with your hands, armpits, or elbows to make a quick and easy dessert that won’t leave chocolate in your armpit.

Well, maybe you’ll get chocolate in your armpit if the bag breaks! But we made 3 batches of this chocolatey goodness with great success and plenty of laughter, too. The armpit squeezing is enough to send anyone into a fit of laughter!

This fudge recipe has been a cub scout favorite for a long time. Scout Leaders have been taking ziplock bags and ingredients to camping trips and nature walks for years, but we’re just now catching onto it. Between powering up y our air rocket launcher and checking on your camping tent, grab the kids and cook up some fun.

The Fudgey Goodness Recipe

This recipe for Armpit Fudge only takes a few minutes to make, and each “set up” will create enough for one person to enjoy. Don’t be tempted to make a double batch or you’ll give yourself a tummy ache!

First, measure out your powdered sugar, cream cheese, cocoa powder, butter, and vanilla. As far as complete ingredient measurements go, you’ll need the following for each cub scout ziploc bag:

1 Tablespoon Butter

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

2 teaspoons cream cheese

2 teaspoons cocoa powder (unsweetened is best)

1/2 cup powdered sugar

Mix and combine all ingredients in the bag, sealing it tight and squeezing out the air. You’ll want to knead the bag (by any means: hands, armpits, knees!) for about five minutes until the ingredients are well combined and turn into a creamy consistency. It will be thinner than fudge but thicker than chocolate frosting.

Squeeze the bag out into a bowl or enjoy straight from the messy bag. Enjoy this out by the campfire, in your tent, or on the patio during the summer.
