ATL Event: Meet Roush Fenway Driver Chris Buescher

This coming Tuesday, an Atlanta Walgreens will host the fabulous Nationwide Series Driver Chris Buescher, who began racing at age 16. Mentored by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver David Ragan and signing as a development driver for Roush Fenway Racing, Buescher began competing in ARCA competitions and went on to win the series championship in 2012.  Buescher made his debut in NASCAR competition for Roush Fenway Racing in 2011, driving 2 races in the Nationwide Series.  In 2014, Buescher moved part-time to the Nationwide Series, driving the No. 60 Ford for Roush Fenway Racing.
If you want to meet and greet Chris Buscher in person, get an autograph or perhaps see the brand new Mustang GT that is being driven in the “Race Around America,” head to the Walgreens at 3740 Cascade Rd. S.W., Atlanta, on Tuesday April 8th, 2014 starting at 11:30am (see the graphic above for more info!).  While you’re at Walgreens, make sure to use your Balance Rewards Card to pick up everything your family might need for this Atlanta Pollen Season (Ya’ll know we don’t have a spring – straight from Winter to Pollen to Summer!)

Walgreens invited Red and me to tag along with Chris Buescher that day, so head on over and say hi! I’ll be taking my own photos and posting them here as the “Race Around America” with Walgreens and Roush Fenway Racing series continues. See you there!

My family is over due for a visit to the aquarium, we haven’t been since the year it opened. My kids were little then, I’m sure they’d like to go back now that they’re older. We should add this to our list of places to visit this Spring.

My husband and I are going to be in Georgia this summer, and I think we’re considering a long weekend “vacation” with our toddler. We’ve been to Atlanta several times, but never the aquarium. It’s definitely at the top of our must see list!
