6 Reasons to Join the Atlanta Braves Kids Club

I made some plans. I found the sunscreen. I filled up the water bottles and pulled out Red’s brand new Atlanta Braves Kids Club passport.  We were finally ready to attend Red’s first Braves game when Chase suddenly reflected, ” Hey… I think MY first Braves game was against the Cubs, too.  This is going to be really fun!  Hey Buddy, you ready to see the Braves play?!”  “Yeeeeaaaaah!” was the reply from Red.  We were off and in our seats before we knew it.  Red batted in Scouts Alley before we found our seats and we had his face painted with a voucher from his VIP passport.  The fun was only beginning, and I was loving every minute of it.  Chase and I were snapping photos left and right, posting to social media about Red’s first game and collecting photos for our yearly family book.

It was more than a blast! Besides having great weather and plenty of excitement, I’m crediting our Atlanta Braves Kids Club membership for the extra fun.  For $25 (they also have a FREE version), it packs a huge punch, and here are some of my favorite reasons for joining:

  1. The Braves Jersey

What you get when you join the premium Atlanta Braves Kid's Club for only $25, AND 2 tickets to a game! #ChopOnRed was overjoyed to see that in his premium Atlanta Braves Kids Club Membership bag there was a bonafide #5 Freddie Freeman Atlanta Braves Jersey.  With the kids club logo as well as the “final season at Turner Field” logo, he was already set to attend his first Braves game in style. This was a HUGE perk of the upper level club membership.

  2. Batting Practice Experience

Have a real batting fan? The premium Kids Club Membership also comes with a redeemable voucher to attend a batting practice before the game. This means seeing your favorite players LIVE and in person while they prep for the game.  During my batting practice experience, I even saw some players giving out autographs!  Have the VIP membership already? Get ready to run the bases on Sunday nights, too!

  3. Scouts Alley Fun

Braves Jr. Batting Practice in Scouts Alley #ChopOnOkay, I’m a big kid and all, but Scouts Alley really is fun for all ages.  You can play around here without joining the Atlanta Braves Kids Club, but if you join for the $25 fee, you can snag some EXTRA tokens to play some games and try your hand at Braves Baseball skills.  Big kids can swing at real baseballs and play catcher, while an adjustable speed whiffle ball can fly at the youngest of kids.  Red hit three balls out of ten, right on the nose!

  4. Passport, Stamps, and Rewards

When you have your first visit to Turner Field, find this kiosk to the right of the entrance, just in Scouts Alley... you'll get some free stickers and a great welcome! #ChopOnI’m a nerdy collector, so this aspect of the kids club totally appeals to me.  In fact, I stole Red’s passport and took it to my date night game in order to snag a sticker stamp for myself! Once you start collecting stamps for the games you attend, you can redeem them for prizes along the way like more tickets to games, a tomahawk, a water bottle and more.  See you many your family can collect!

  5. The Welcome Kit

Red's first braves game, complete with swag! Atlanta Braves Kid's Club, #ChopOn

Welcome to the team! That kit included plenty of swag, like the jersey, some bumper stickers, game calendars, free Chick-fil-a and more.  Red pored over the contents for a long time, and was able to bring the backpack to games, filled with snacks, sunglasses and sunscreen.  By far, it’s the easiest thing to bring to a game!

  6. Freebies Along the Way

There is SO much to see in the VIP passport, I can’t even relate it all.  Admission to the Braves History Museum is included, and there was TONS to see in that place.  Memorabilia, artifacts, trophies, pop culture and even a full-size rail car that used to transport the team from game to game.  You can snack and sit where your favorite players did!

The museum has a very cool self-guided tour, available on your smart phone with some extra history. Scan a code, or enter the phone number.  I know most people don’t use QR scanners anymore, but this is a good use for them. Maybe the Museum will get an app instead of using codes for the new stadium!

Now, most of my favorite perks fall in line with the Premium VIP membership, but there’s still TONS to see and do with your free pass.  With the new BOGO ticket offer for 2016,  you’ll get extra games and stamps and fun!  For an Atlanta kid, even the free pass is a MUST-DO. Heck, get one for each kid in your family and make attending the games a challenge!

Atlanta Braves Kids Club Membership Perks, both FREE and VIP

Red’s very first Atlanta Braves games left him giddy and wiped at the same time. Daddy had to carry him out to the car during the 9th inning, where he almost fell asleep! As soon as Red woke up the next morning, he wanted to back to “see the Braves play!”

Final Season Kids Club Free Ticket Offer!

This season, choose from two Atlanta Braves Kids Club Memberships for your little Braves fan!  The premium and free memberships both include a BOGO (buy one, get one) ticket offer and a Braves Passport where members can earn prizes for attending home games.  Get the premium membership and get a bunch of extra benefits including a Chick-fil-A sandwich, a Freddie Freeman Kids Club jersey, VIP access for Kids Run the Bases and much more!  Have questions? Read through the FAQs.

I’m working with the Atlanta Braves during their 2016 season to help spread the word about our favorite home team.  My family was hosted to this Braves game and given one complimentary Atlanta Braves Kids Club Membership.  #ChopOn

What a cute thing for the Braves to do. I wish they had this when we lived in Atlanta and the kids were younger.

My daughter’s name is Maddox, after legendary Braves pitcher (and fellow Las Vegas local) Greg Maddux. This Kids Club is awesome and I would love to take the family to a home game someday!

You’ve got to do baseball when it’s summer time. We love getting our whole family to go to a game. The kids always have a blast, and I fall in love with churros over and over.

I haven’t tried asking my son about sports. Maybe when he gets a little older.

They seem to be doing more and more with pro baseball in general.
This looks like a great opportunity for the whole family!

I love what they have to offer kids. I remember my son’s first ever Braves game and the look on his face was priceless. He was in awe of everything that was there. I think this is a wise investment and in a few years we will have to get our youngest one to be apart of this.

Sorry this is a little bit late, but how long did it take you to receive all of the membership items? We ordered for 2017 on April 11 (exactly two weeks before I am posting this) and have still not received anything!

Oh, wow! That seems a little too long to wait! If I were you, I’d do one of two things; if you are headed to the stadium soon, stop by guests services and see what they say (bring your email confirmation with you!) or call up the help line and let them know what’s going on. I hope it gets to you, soon!
