If you’ve been around the facebook page, you might have seen the updates about me being a part of the “Mom Squad.” It’s a panel of Atlanta moms on CBS’ new show Atlanta Plugged In, airing Monday through Thursday at 12:30pm. The small panel gets together once a week to talk about some meaty issues that moms and parents face, adding a touch of humor and some fun.
The very first segment we did dug into the Ray Rice beating and how we handle not only this incident with our children, but also violence, and respect as well. It got really deep, and the whole of the conversation was too long to be aired completely. We learned some things about graphics, timing and really how to circle back after discussion… Here’s Mom Squad: Ray Rice’s Violence
The next week, we talked about Mom Guilt… What gives us Mom Guilt and how the heck do we deal with it? It’s okay to embrace life and roll with the punches. Mom Squad: Mom Guilt
We also talked about keeping it sexy in the bedroom – don’t lose that spark!! Mom Squad: Keep it Sexy!
Lastly, this past week we discussed Self-Care. How do you still take care of yourself and not lose your confidence or self-preservation in our busy world of being a mom/wife/career woman? The segment has now been moved to the Monday portion of the show. Make sure to set your DVR for 12:30pm Mondays to catch the CBS Atlanta Plugged In‘s Mom Squad in action!
