How I Distract My Baby During My Son’s Karate Lesson

Thank you to GoGoSqueez for providing our family with packs of Yogurtz to review.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Having two kids vs. one has been quite the adjustment for me.  Instead of planning one agenda and activities for an age group, I find myself juggling two schedules and nap routines, two types of cut-up chicken, and more.  After-school afternoons become centered around Red, with his homework, snack break and then sports on various weekdays.  A few times a week, Red has karate lessons (which he adores) and that means Scarlett is along for the ride unless Chase and I can split up and each tackle a kid (and work… and make dinner, etc.).

Get it, Red! #karate

A 5:00 karate session also means dinnertime for Scarlett, so baby girl is getting an on-the-go meal in the waiting area of the studio because unlike our waiting room… she can’t wait.  I like to bring a few small toys to hold her off for a while, and then I break out my 30+ year old Tupperware container with lid.  It’s got three divided sections that stay separated for fruits, veggies, cheeses and proteins for Scarlett’s dinner plate.  Not pictured are the strawberries she devoured and the turkey she’s currently working on.  She turns scarfing into an art form!

dinner on the go!

While Red practices his horse stance and blocks, our plate is finished up and I quietly pulled out the next course: GoGo squeeZ’s new YogurtZ.  Like their applesauce pouches before them, they need no refrigeration and are made with low fat milk, real cane sugar, real fruit and NO preservatives.  That means it’s a food that sits right with me and my whole family.

We tried a few flavors of GoGo squeeZ YogurtZ (strawberry, banana and berry) as an addition to our stroller-bound karate dinners.  They were super easy to serve as well as throw in the diaper bag for another playdate the next day.   Red tried them the day before, but my picky eater is hard to please.  If GoGO SqueeZ made a vanilla flavor, he would be ALL OVER IT, but just fruit flavors are offered at this time.  Scarlett, on the other hand loves the berry offerings, and prefers them at room temperature for maximum-speed consumption.

Go Go Squeez Yogurtz

The best part about this yogurt is that doesn’t need to be cold.  GoGo SqueeZ YogurtZ is shelf stable, so no fridge is needed, making it the perfect snack for our on-the-go family.  Each of the 3 oz. pouches has 4 grams of protein and 15% of the suggested daily value for Calcium and other vitamins.  That kind of side dish packs a punch!

Besides making some tasty new yogurtZ, GoGo squeeZ has been named Official Applesauce of Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.  They have sponsored so many events I’ve attended; I’ve snacked on applesauce while at Disney Social Media Moms, mugged in a runDisney photo booth with GoGo squeeZ props and even been handed complimentary packs while strolling around EPCOT during the International Flower & Garden Festival.  It’s safe to say that GoGo squeeZ is my best buddy when it comes to snacks on the go!

A word about GoGo squeeZ®: the leading brand of 100 percent fruit in a pouch announced it has been named the Official Applesauce of Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Since its launch in 2008, GoGo squeeZ has proven that it is possible for on-the-go snacks to be made with simple, natural ingredients that are nutritious and delicious, featuring more than 20 squeezable applesauce flavors.

I admit, I eat the GoGo Squeeze myself! I’d love to see a vanilla flavor as well. I hope they do end up making one in the future!

I like that the yogurt doesn’t have to be cold and can be eaten on the go. I also like that it has calcium and vitamins, that’s something I always look for in food products. The banana flavor sounds yumm!

It’s tough to travel with babies, or even stay outside for too long. I really admire your patience and your dedication to feed her regardless. GoGo SqueeZ YogurtZ sounds like the perfect solution for you! Glad the little one enjoys it.

I didn’t know there was a yougurt squeeze. That’s something I’d take in my lunch, lolol. True fact.

The squeeze pouch has definitely taken over my house! Its usually apple sauce though, but I know my kids would like the yogurt too.

My nieces love the squeeze pouch and the flavors. We always need to distract them while their older sister is at dance.
