Back to School, LulaRoe Style!

Every year before school starts, I find myself prepping not only our school supplies but the dresser drawers. I take inventory of what clothes we have and what fits so that when we are ready to shop, I have a firm list and don’t get anything we don’t need. This year, we needed a LOT. Red has grown at least 2″ over the summer, and Scarlett grew 3″ in the last year, so nearly everything needs to be replaced or added to their closets. LuLaRoe sent me a lovely box of new styles and color ways for kids this back to school season and I was more than grateful for the gift! You know my opinions are always my own!

Take your kids back to school in comfort and style! LuLaRoe has pieces in trendy colorways for boys and girls of all ages! AD

When I did the live Facebook unboxing, I spotted several silhouettes I was familiar with; the unisex SLOAN, the little girl’s MAE with a waistband and pockets, as well as the little version of the CARLY for kids, aptly named the SCARLETT. I also found some new shapes to me, like the button-up THOR and MONROE moto jacket. Add in a SARIAH cardigan to match an included pink dress and we have weeks worth of mix and match to enjoy!

Red modeled his favorite THOR from the box; a fighter jet silhouette repeated many times. a light iron made the collar crispy for the bus stop, and his red backpack was a nice color pop! While you won’t find many dry clean only clothing pieces in my house these shirts can hand wash easily or hit the dryer with a Dryel Kit. They laundered nicely!

We also received two SLOAN shirts in a cool new print for Red. They both were Ath-leisure inspired, with bright workout colors and textures that reminisced of chrome plates, neon squiggles and the like. He was very happy to choose this blue number to wear to his first art show. Red’s self-portrait was featured in the Recycle Art class and he was so proud! Check out the artsy glasses he insisted on adding to the ensemble:

Scarlett is much younger than Red, but still just as discerning when it comes to her wardrobe. In fact, she may have more to say about what she wears than anyone else in the house. When she saw these PURPLE LEGGINGS matched her very favorite hairbow, she insisted they be worn immediately. After she paired it with a lacy top from Target, Scarlett asked for her jewelry box of play items and went to work. It was only by secret I snatched this photo of her!

School days are a time to play, which means flexibility and comfort. If LuLaRoe isn’t comfortable, I don’t know what is! You’ll see from my FB live video that Scarlett often calls pockets SNACKHOLES and cup holders are likewise DRINKHOLES, and you’ll find them in the little girl’s MAE silhouette. It’s an easy one-piece outfit to snag from the closet and head to school. This MAE matches our SARIAH cardigan and can also be paired with leggings in cooler weather making MAE a year round dress!

The MONROE moto jacket is soft, with a self-bound collar and kangaroo snack holes… I mean… pockets. Our Navy blue with white stripe jacket has an elasticized waist, which is SUPER 80’s and 90’s, but those styles are coming around again! The zipper runs smooth and is well set, making the MONROE a nice staple for these upcoming fall days. Winds in Atlanta can pick up quickly. but it doesn’t stand a chance with the closed cuffs!

Scarlett enjoyed posing in her namesake dress in a custom pink print, which was silky, light, comfortable and allowed her to dance her way across the kitchen. It was a very warm and rainy day here in Atlanta, so we skipped the matching SARIAH cardigan in a perfect blue to swish the afternoon away in a dance party. Those toes can’t stay still!

Get Some LuLaRoe for Back To School

If you’re ready to buy some LuLaRoe for your kids, check with a stylist near you! I have at least two that I purchase from regularly, and have a few groups with multi-sales ready to go. It’s not too hard to find the pieces I need to create a back to school wardrobe. What will you be picking up for your kid’s wardrobes?
