Disclaimer: BJ’s Wholesale Club provided a VIP tour and a 2 month membership to hear my thoughts. All thoughts and words expressed are my very own and I was not asked to write this post, but am, because I thought they were awesome.
I had the great pleasure to be given a VIP tour around my “local” BJ’s Warehouse. I say local because it’s still 20 minutes away, but man – I think it’s worth the trip. A cost-savings club similar to others you may already belong to, BJs is really pulling ahead of the crowd in terms of helping real families save money. You know, those that don’t have an extra house to keep all that toilet paper and dishwashing detergent. Families like mine! They also have fresh cheese, fresh bakery and fresh meat departments; something I hadn’t seen before! The photo below showcases only part of the cheese selection, select fresh and exclusive Cake Boss cakes, as well as an in house organic label.
Red and I were really excited to go down the Xmas Decor and toy aisles – they were packed with value merchandise and I wanted everything in sight! Red especially loved the gigantic blow up animatronic Mickey Mouse Clubhouse yard decorations. Let’s see Hubs mount that puppy on the roof! The latest toys were available for purchase, and even some heirloom quality music pieces!
After our awesome tour around the warehouse, we were taken to the lounge to have a sampling of BJ’s wares. Fresh cheeses, dessert platters, quiches, meats and in house lemonades. Even the place settings were china-like plastic plates and silver-looking wares! These would for sure make a difference at a christmas party (that same one I’m hosting next month!). The GM, Glea, came up to give us some tips and tricks to save money at BJ’s, like coupon stacking (they are the only warehouse that takes manufacturer coupons and stacks them with BJs coupons), the ability to buy only one loaf of bread (still with savings) and save on other merchandise with the LOWEST membership in the Atlanta area; $35!!
And I saw a giant pack of my loves:
Red and I had a great time, met some awesome people and were really excited! We brought home a cool waffle iron and some other goodies courtesy of the warehouse. Thank you to everyone at the Woodstock BJs Warehouse!
Now, make sure you visit BJ’s this holiday season, and use this One Day Shopping Pass found on the website to try your hand at some savings!! Enjoy your #BJsHoliday!
I wish the one by us hadn’t closed down. I loved that they took coupons! And a waffle iron? That’s pretty sweet!
It makes waffle STICKS. And I didn’t take any photos… because we ate all the waffle too quickly! No kidding on the one by us. I’m thinking about switching, but it’s not exactly close! If you want to make a shopping trip with me next week we can use the membership!
