If you’re on the Blogger platform, then you might want to pay attention! Have you ever been out at work, in the park, or have downtime in a place where you had no access to your blog? Sure, you could be drafting a post while you’re waiting for the DMV to call your number, or picking up your kids form school in that massively long car pool line, but you’re not sitting in front of your computer.
Well, now you CAN blog on the go, with BlogGo. (Appropriately named, yes?) I downloaded the App in the Apple App Store on my phone – it was SUPER easy to find and downloaded in just a few minutes. The homescreen features a few unlabeled buttons, but it’s fairly easy to understand what they are: New Post, Edit, RSS, Comments, Web and Settings.
When I first downloaded the app and tried it, it took a very long time to load. BUT, I was importing over 18 months worth of blog posts (5 posts a week for 18 months – you do the math). It also took a while for the comment to first download. Subsequently, every other time I operated it, it was fairly speedy. and extremely accurate.
I much prefer to draft and redraft a post on the BlogGo app and then gently reformat on my computer before I go live, but the app has saved me LOTS of time at home, and it’s a life saver to quickly draft a post idea with even just a title or a single photo. Those photos can come from my mobile album, or I can take one on the go – GREAT for posting during events or getting a teaser post up and running quickly. I can use HTML formatting, add labels, save posts, and even schedule them right from my phone.
If you’re using the Blogger Platform, and are looking to get more organized and get a leg up on time management, the BlogGo app is for you! Check it out and let me know how you like it!
I was provided a free download of the application for use and review from the sponsor. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
