I nearly forgot that I met this Disneybound Once Upon a Dream! Cooking up a quick Briar Rose Disneybound was essential as the International Day of the Girl was coming around. Celebrated on October 11, the International Day of the Girl was celebrated at the Disney Parks in 2018, as guests all over the world DisneyBounded as female Disney characters across all mediums. My Disney Parks Moms Panel reunion crossed this date, and so I had to dress up! My friends dressed as Elsa and Dory, and the bounds were so successful we found ourselves as the cover photo on the Disney Parks Blog!

Briar Rose Disneybound
This Sleeping Beauty Disneybound is extremely comfortable (a trend in my casual bounding) as well as easy to obtain. All three main pieces came from Amazon, while the black hair scarf was already in my wardrobe from previous Disney costumes. I added black flats for the morning session and then switched into another pair of shoes you can read about below!

What Shoes Should You Wear With A Disneybound?
In my experience, you’ve got to get some photos, but you also have to care for yourself. Flats are one thing, but if you traipse around the Park as fast as I do, sneakers are the name of the game. I’ve been known to Poshmark some colored Keds for Disneybounds like my Pink Cinderella look, and it’s paid dividends. Pack a larger bag and give yourself some extra kicks. Whatever you choose to wear, make sure it’s comfortable, broken in, and bring bandaids just in case!
For my Briar Rose Disneybound, I swapped to my thick athletic sneakers once we started Park Hopping. I needed a break!
Disneybounding on the Disney Parks Blog
Yup, you read that right! We were featured on the DPB. In fact, lots of other international gals were posted on the blog, all wearing Disneybounds and full costumes (only in Shanghai). One of the most fun moments was meeting the Citizens of Main Street that moment as a suffragette stopped us in our tracks and proclaimed some girl power! Women Unite!

Very nice! Looks just like her dress! And I like the “women unite” message too!
