Let’s be real for a sec. I’m a messy cook. I take right after my grandmother, making a huge mess in the kitchen while I bake and cook, and the bigger the mess, the better the dish! I’ve shared my Baked Ziti with many of you, but what I haven’t shared (and you may have experienced) is that baked on cheese is never easy to clean from a pan. And while we’re in full disclosure mode, the Redhead House has always just used whatever dishwasher fluid has been on sale. Most of the time, we’re using Cascade Gel. When we had our brand-spanking new dishwasher installed, I was surprised to see on the label (and in the manual!) that Cascade was the recommended brand to keep not only my dishes clean but the washer in sparkling, good working order.
Cascade has recently launched Cascade Platinum. This super pack formula lets me show off not only my fresh-from-the-dishwasher ware, but also lets me showcase my new recipes on sparkling platters and plates. The little packs are SO easy to slap in the washer, no pre rinse formula needed (did you know they had these? I’ve been living under a rock, I guess!). I don’t have to soak my pans anymore, and there’s no buildup on my glassware or pans!
And, if there is wine served with dinner, I can lounge about and not worry if we don’t run the dishwasher until the next night. Right?! Sign me up for another bag of these babies.
