2016 Disney Girls Trip

It’s that time of year again! When the Type-A Parent conference rolls around, I get SO EXCITED to go and hang out with my buddies and learn a thing or two.  In previous years, the conference has been in Atlanta, and I always love knowing that my friends in the computer are real.  This year, the conference’s backdrop was my favorite place in the whole world; the Walt Disney World Resort!! The girls and I have been planning our Disney girls trip for at least a year, snagging dinner reservations, park tickets, hotel transfers and more.

It was also time for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, which I’ll detail for you this week.  The Halloween special event is so jam-packed with things to do and limited time character appearances, we went BACK for a second night! Meghan, Krystyn and I dressed as the little girls of Disney/PIXAR: Darla (Nemo), Boo (Monsters Inc.) and Vanellope  (Wreck-It Ralph).  It was the perfect trio to be independent but themed at the same time.

Our second night at the party was spent as the Sanderson Sisters, focused on meet and greets with the limited appearance Disney characters and walking onto the most popular rides in the park.

October is also a portion of the time that the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is being hosted, which meant that dinner on Wednesday evening was spent drinking and eating “around the world!”

And what is having a Memory Maker without a few magic shots? We specifically requested a magic shot from the photographer as we exited the Haunted Mansion.  See our shirts? I designed them and Krystyn printed them out on vinyl.  Most certainly my favorite creation this year!  The conference felt so short since we were having so much fun.  I had a few good takeaways from the conference, but having fun with the girls took the cake.  Be sure to check out my WONDERFUL Food & Wine adventures from this week on Instagram.
