Are you ready for the big game? Television mounted, invites delivered, smorgasbord prepped? In case you don’t have dessert down, or if you’ve got some rumblies in your tumblie (Pooh Bear!), these easy football brownies will get you a touchdown. Coming together in a snap, a simple (affiliate) icing design brings them together with a football shaped cookie cutter.
In the recipe card below, you’ll see how these brownies are made; with a simple brownie recipe with only messing up one bowl in your kitchen. That’s a win for me! Snag your cookie cutter and punch out as many ovals as you can in your brownie pan.
Peel them out carefully, and mix up your icing. After placing in a ziploc bag, snip the end to prepare for decorating your football brownies. Start small – you can always cut off more, not less.
Begin with the corner stripes and then the center lacings. Go slowly in order to keep the lines even!
Tada! A few swipes and your football brownie is complete! Load them up on a tray and serve to your guests, your children… yourself! (Not that I’m saying I eat a whole pan by myself, but I’m not NOT saying that, either…)

Aren’t these adorable? Whip up a batch for the big February game, a college kickoff, or a National Championship. Or heck… if you’re just feeling hungry and a little sporty! What are you favorite sporty snacks to celebrate a game?

Well, we’ve still got a couple weeks of football left, so I need to get started on these. They look so good and are just perfect for the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl.

Oh, I’m so happy to hear that. Brownies are my weak spot! Thank you so so much for coming back to leave a comment about them.
