I was lucky enough to snag some badly needed one on one time with my bestie. With jobs, families, homes and living 25 minutes apart, we don’t get to see each other as much as when we were in high school (did we know how good we had it?!).
We took off to the fabulous Fox theatre downtown and saw Sister Act, the Musical. It was the same story line I knew and loved from the movie, but with new songs and a new cast. Yes, I did miss the interweaving of the old motown hits, but composer Alan Menken (Little Mermaid…) did his best to allude to many styles of music.
If you’re in Atlanta while the show is running, make a heavenly dash down to the theatre and have a divine time!
