Home Depot Kitchen Commercial Filming

What a week we’re having in the Redhead House!  The kitchen is nearing completion; its makeover story is almost through.  Before we finish, the final shots must be taken and the film is rolling.  I sassily snapped a photo while cameras were finding speed on Monday; a full day of activity in the house is exhausting, and it’s why you haven’t heard any updates in a bit.  I can’t wait to give you the final reveal… it’s shocking how different everything looks with a “simple” reface!

I was so happy that my parents were able to come into town to see the finished product, and to be in the home depot kitchen commercial with us! Chase’s parents made their way over, too.  My Mom has been aching to see Red, and he thinks she hung the moon.  Scarlett, in her fits of grins, is starting to win Nonna over, too.  Aren’t they beautiful?!? We had professional hair and makeup style us for our big film production day.

Only moments before we were supposed to be in the kitchen, I hastily snapped this selfie of us… the director was ushering us into place, and I wanted a Mommy & Me shot so badly.  Too bad it was so blurry, but better this than nothing!

When shooting was wrapped, all of Nonna’s babies flopped on the couch to enjoy one of her (and my) favorite Disney flicks, Dumbo.  That Baby Mine song gets me every. Time.  It was extra special to catch this moment of Nonna, Red, and Scarlett all snuggling, watching intently.  I can’t wait until Mom and Dad live closer.  When they moved before Red was born, it was heartbreaking.  I miss them so much every day, and I’m sure I nearly irritate my Mom to death, calling her every day! (Sorry, Mom! #SorryNotSorry)

Meanwhile, I was finally making our first meal in the new home depot kitchen… I can’t wait to reveal the new backsplash, countertops and gorgeous cabinet faces. Edit: you can find the home depot kitchen commercial here.

How exciting! I’ve enjoyed your sneaks on IG and can’t wait to see the full reveal. We got our new granite counters through Home Depot two years ago. Still slowly working on refinishing the cabinets myself – hard to find time between the kids & our daily life. I love looking online at others’ so I can get inspiration. Amazing the difference a few small changes can make to a room.

Can’t wait to see your new kitchen! We are in the middle of week three with no kitchen. This whole experience has been less than fun, to say the least.

And Baby of Mine, is my favorite Disney song. I have been singing it to both boys since they were babies! It took me till Noah was about 6 months old before I could sing it without crying!

I can’t wait to see the new kitchen! And, maybe have some wine from that wine fridge.

Glad the grands got to come in for a visit, too!
