I’m a Chick-fil-a Mom Ambassador!

Did you know that Chick-fil-a’s Mom Ambassadors are in your town? They are some of the first people to help spread the word about local products and events.  I was invited to be a part of the local panel in my hometown and I’m proud to bring you some new information about Chick-fil-a’s Grilled Chicken!
Mom Ambassadors for Chick-fil-a are among the first to know about new products!
Over the long Mother’s Day Weekend, I stopped in to a little luncheon, thrown by Zach, our local owner and manager.  He was very kind and welcoming, making all of his local ambassadors at ease.  Zach even gave us a little token for Mother’s Day – a entire sandwich meal on him! Thank you, Zach!

(Here’s a picture of Zach and I that afternoon – he’s  a nice guy, and really helpful.)

We were invited to choose a grilled entree and side item to taste, and I chose the new grilled chicken sandwich.  It includes lettuce and tomato, as well as optional sauces served on the side.  The traditional Chick-fil-a pickles are not included in order to reduce the sodium in the entree, but you can ask for them. (I always ask for extras!!).  The grilled nuggets and chicken are marinated in a special Chick-fil-a marinade that was delicious! Lots of flavor and the special grill that the restaurant uses is exclusive to Chick-fil-a, and can’t be found anywhere else.  It was wonderful!
Did you know that Chick-fil-a's Grilled Chicken products have a new marinade and are made on an exclusive Chick-fil-a grill? After lunch, we were given a “backstage tour” of the local restaurant, and I was shocked to see how fresh everything is.  It’s almost not made until you walk into the store! They use software to help predict how many people are going to come to the store each hour, and that’s how they cook – if all of a sudden a softball team shows up, there will be extra wait time because everything is fresh – think of it as made to order with a dash of fortune telling – it’s full-counter service food!  In the photo below, you can check out the all-name-brand products that Chick-fil-a uses to create their meals. You know it’s quality.

And to prove that everything is super fresh and made that day, I got a sneaky little photo of the lemonade setup! 5-6 cases of California Sunkist Lemons are used every morning (hand sliced and squeezed) to make the lemonade.  Either Splenda or Domino sugar sweetens the pot, and it’s good to go.  Make sure you check out the video below of the lemonade squeezing in action!
Chick-fil-a lemonade is sourced from brand name products and squeezed by hand every day! Made fresh in your town!

It’s gonna be pretty darn hard for me to stay away from Chick-fil-a.  This southern girl has had a taste for it since she was little, and with over 25 years of chicken sammich’ eatin’ under my belt, I still left my local Chick-fil-a impressed.  Head over and grab yourself a fresh lemonade and a grilled chicken entree today!

Wow! I had no idea “Mom Ambassadors” were at thing! Very cool. And thanks for getting my mouth watering on the one day Chick-fil-A is closed! Ha!
