Keeping a Healthy Smile with Colgate Total Mouthwash

Disclaimer: As part of a sponsored post for Collective Bias®, I purchased Colgate Total Mouthwash at a Target store to help keep my family’s healthy smiles bright!

Everyone loves shopping at Target, and I am no exception to the rule.  I’ll take nearly any excuse to browse the aisles and check out the new products!  Our family’s most recent haul included the regular diapers, groceries and Colgate Total Mouthwash to get our Healthy Smiles.

You remember from Red’s finally brushing his teeth that we value oral health in our family.  Clean and healthy teeth will last a lifetime, and nothing says more about you than a healthy smile!  Hubs and I have been Colgate toothpaste users for a long time (really!) and few of our family members even have allergies to other various brands.  I like the flavor (can you even call it a flavor if you can’t eat it?!) and the long lasting clean sensation I get when I brush.  My teeth don’t get “sweaters” as often….

I went out shopping to find the newest member of the Colgate family – Colgate Total Mouthwash.  Available in flavors like Peppermint, Spearmint and Wintermint (see a pattern there?), its really fresh and doesn’t burn your mouth at all while keeping it clean all day long.

At first glance, I thought it was a pretty small bottle – but the punch it packs is so nice, you don’t need to use so much.  I chose the Spearmint flavor to try first for the extra freshness and was very happy with it.  It smells and tastes just like your favorite spearmint gum or tea!  I did continue to feel the “fresh” tingle throughout the day, even after my mid-morning snack to stave off hunger.

Even Hubs thought it was a GREAT addition to our oral health routine.  And who doesn’t love kissing that minty freshness? (Sorry, ladies! He’s taken!)  I’m sure that if Red could use mouthwash, he’d be in on it, too.  At least I think he would – he’s been sniffing the bottle, which is a good thing!
If you see Colgate Total Mouthwash out near you, pick it up and try it out.  Let me know which flavor you chose and how it works for you!  Check out the shopping trip I had at Target to pick up my bottle!

It really was tasty. The funny thing? After purchasing the bottle, I went out of town for a few days. When I came back, the bottle was over half gone… and on Hubs’s sink…. 🙂

The spearmint flavor does sound yummy! I will have to try that one out as soon as we finish off these jugs of Listerine 😉

I’m doing the 2 week challenge for Colgate Total and loved the alcohol-free mouthwash. No burning sensation!
