Thank you to Camp Warner Brothers for the complimentary gear and the movie to enjoy with each other during the rainy week. All opinions are my own, and affiliate links may be used.

CAMP WARNER BROTHERS,

WE HOLD YOU IN OUR HEARTS

AND WHEN WE THINK ABOUT YOU

IT MAKES US FEEL REAL SMART!

(Or something like that!) Welcome to Camp Warner Brothers, where it’s fast fun and movie magic, all summer long. We opened our camper box last weekend to find some official camp gear and a camp calendar to get us started.  Tie-Dye, here we come!

Check out our finished tie-dye creations!! As Camp Director, I had to remind the kids that while we could aim for a pattern and use the colors we liked, tie-dye can be tricky and you will get a surprise when you open it… don’t be upset. Just revel in the surprise that is your tie-dye! Grab your own tie-dye kit here to have fun with your family!

Super Hero Week at Camp Warner Brothers

This week is Super Hero Week at Summer Camp (at home)! Celebrating the release of LEGO® DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters, we’re learning all about Super Hero Training which brings out the passion, patience, listening skills, and fun in all of us.  Batman took us for some Hero training (suitable for campers of ANY age) and gave us some fun games to tune up our hero skills.  Check out Batman’s 7-minute training video here to get some hot hero tips:(Video was created by Send In The Clowns LA)

Red, Scarlett and I made sure to look the part with all sorts of fun Superhero gear we already had in the house. From Wonder Woman to some other well-known heroes, we’re mashing it up for creations of our own! If you don’t have official play gear at your house, make some! Get crafty with paper plates and string for masks, towels for capes, and while you’re at it, pilfer Mom’s dishwashing gloves for some gallant gloves. Check out our Heroic handiwork: Wando, the dinosaur pirate, who casts fireball spells until their foe is dust! And Wonder, who uses unicorn magic to heal those around her. My kiddos had some great imagination using items we had around the house!

Once our Superhero training with Batman was done, it was time to escape the sudden summer thundershowers and enjoy the new LEGO Shazam movie! LEGO® DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters combined all our favorite heroes in a new feature that the kids were completely enthralled by. I loved the classic DC Superheroes that joined in for the “ good fight with this giant-sized LEGO DC adventure!” LEGO® DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters is now available to own on Digital, Blu-ray & DVD, so hop to Movies Anywhere and download your copy today or snag one from this link!

About LEGO® DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters:

10-year-old Billy Batson shouts a single word and, with lightning bolts flashing, he transforms into Shazam!, a full-fledged adult Super Hero. It doesn’t take long for Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and the rest of the Justice League to take notice and invite the earnest do-gooder to join the team. But to become a member, Billy must reveal his true identity. While fighting off the evil Mr. Mind and Black Adam, Billy learns that he must trust others – and that nothing creates trust like helping those in need. Join the good fight with this giant-sized LEGO DC adventure!
