When you think of a Bachelor pad, you typically think of mismatched furniture (which was VERY true for us until a few years ago), eating chinese food while sitting on milk crates, and for the most part, a mattress set resting on the floor. It screams undecorated, casual, careless living. … But that’s what we have right now. Hubs and I decided that due to a very large bulldog, a snuggly kitty, two adults, and very rarely an early-waking toddler, that we needed a bigger bed.
This meant that the current queen size set became the guest room’s bed and it was time for an upgrade. I got super picky about what I wanted: A Simmons Beautyrest, only one step down from the Westin’s heavenly Bed (those suckers are ‘spensive, but superbly dreamy!!). Arriving only one day after we ordered it, I now had a dilemma…. what do we do with the queen bed frame (that won’t fit upstairs and is badly scratched on the side rails due to aforementioned fatty bulldog) while we switch over??
A fairly quick Craigslist sale was my answer, but for the 10 days that it’s taking for our *new*, pretty fancy, no-dog-toes-touching bed frame, the mattress set was on the ground. Kitty likes it – much easier to pounce upon.

Now I feel sad. Randy says no headboards. I have been living without one since 2005:(
