If you caught all the details from our #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate, I alluded to making a kids’ drink (um, let’s be honest… I had at least two cups!) honoring Miles from Tomorrowland. This spacey concoction is a cool chocolate drink, with a little bit of galactic garnish. I first heard the words, “Cosmic Cocoa” when watching an episode of Miles From Tomorrowland with Red (we watch most of his shows together). Miles and his sister enjoyed a cup of this grog after solving a few mysteries and using teamwork to save the ship. Though I can’t remember what the episode was called, I knew exactly what to do with the gifted box of chocolate Nesquik powder in our #Disneykids preschool playdate box.
I made a huge pitcher for our neighborhood party, using 6 cups of cold, fresh milk and 12 Tablespoons of Nesquik powder. I made sure to use a large whisk to mix the drink ahead of time, and gently swirl the Cosmic Cocoa before setting the pitcher out for pouring.
James Bond had it wrong… Stirred roughly is the way to go! 😉
Miles from Tomorrowland Cosmic Cocoa
Ingredients
- 12 TBSP Chocolate Nesquik Powder
- 6 cups cold milk
- Whipped Cream
- Star Sprinkles
Instructions
- In a large, pitcher, combine the milk and the chocolate powder.
- Whisk vigorously to combine.
- Stir again before serving, in short cups.
- Top with a swirl of whipped cream, and a splash of star sprinkles.
Notes
All the kids wanted a fun cup of cool chocolate topped with plenty of star sprinkles when they heard it was a Miles drink! The show appeals to both boys and girls (our whole family is a fan of this Disney Junior show), so it was the perfect themed choice for our Disney Junior playdate.
Here’s a short video clip that I made with Nesquik at the Mom2.0 2016 Summit about Cosmic Cocoa!

That sounds so yum! That cartoon sounds cute, too. Mine are older, so I am out of the Disney Junior loop these days.
