This weekend Hubs and I had a little baby-free date to a friend’s wedding. Rehearsal dinner one night, and wedding the next. A full 2 nights, and although we kept busy, I still missed my little man.
Aaron, the groom, awaited his bride at the altar, with his best man. When she walked down, he smiled wider than I’d ever seen him smile.
Since we had our little date weekend, I was happy to get a photo of us all dressed up – me in a pink dress from last summer, and Hubs in his white tuxedo; all dressed up as an usher with the wedding party. White tuxes – at first I wasn’t too sure, but the guys did look pretty swanky when they were together. And Hubs cleans up nicely – what a handsome man he is!
I spend a good part of the wedding with my Mommy friend – Carly. You might remember her as being the mommy of “Alice” and “Peanut”. Her husband, Hubs, the groom, and best man are all good friends; they enjoyed beers, dancing, and all around man-time together (you can see them convening together in the background). The men chilled while we sipped white white and noshed passed hors devours 🙂
When we got home, this little guy was well on his way to dream land, but he’s still deserving of a little cameo.
