Red, Hubs, and I had a great time at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta this weekend. But, with all the new things to see and do, our cranky (hungry) toddler trying to wrench free from my direction ended up with a bonked noggin, right on one of the museum’s “trees”. We immediately got an ice pack (which Red did not want to be bothered with) and sat in a quiet place to assess his bonk. He got a nice goose egg on his forehead and a bruise, but no broken skin, and only a few tears. I think I had more than he did, and by far, more worry. Red wanted to continue playing and not take any time off in our arms.
After pulling him away from the exhibits, we stopped for a french fries and a milkshake, which he loved. Several hours later, here we are mugging for the camera and sharing some smiles. Red completely forgot about his bonk, but it’s always going to be in our photos!

Aw, cute pics! They are bound to get a few goose eggs, no matter how much you try to protect them! I am learning that the hard way.

Thank you! It’s so nerve wracking when you see it happening… time slows and sometimes you can’t get there fast enough!

Poor little guy. Iz was with E on the school bus playing with her. At the same time I said, “where is E” she pushed her shopping cart right out a little opening and off a step…crashed down. Yep…that area isn’t quite so toddler friendly.
