There will come a time, in awkward teenage years, when Red won’t necessarily want to hug me in public. He will try to be a cool kid, and won’t hold hands as we cross the street.
But, there is this time: a time when he yells, “MAMA!” with an epic grin first thing in the morning. A time when he doles out as many kisses as he can; hugs and snuggles all day long. I don’t take any hug for granted. I love each moment.

What a sweet moment. Yes they become more rare when they are older. I take hugs from my kids whenever I can get them

awwww so sweet. I have a toddler and I feel the same way!! I am trying to enjoy it as much as I can, and now I have a 3 month old as well, so I am busy and trying to make sure I don’t take time from them. Great post:) Come by and visit me at http://www.mzpittman.blogspot.com. I am following as well.

So very true…even the 6 year old hesitates to let me give her a hug and kiss before getting on the bus!
