Here in the Redhead House, we LOVE to go to the Square. There’s a farmer’s market every weekend, with horse and buggy rides, artisan crafts, and TONS of local produce and goods.
Since E is still in town with Tara, we took them up to visit the market and stroll the boys around. I was able to snag some yummy goat cheese and fresh local honey (that our family CANNOT do without!). Red got to pet his first horse and kid goat, and toss some pennies into the fountain. He then tried to toss himself into the fountain a few times…
Hubs took this quick shot in the bright sunshine. We couldn’t even see the photo on the phone until we got home, and what a gem it was. Frame material, I think! Did you have fun in the warmer weather this weekend?
We went Sunday! It was soooo pretty. I need to go Saturday so I can get some local honey…I’ve got to get my hands on some! And yes, FRAME it!

i had no clue it was every weekend…
we went the other weekend and i presumed it was just the first weekend of the month… but of course, we missed it, since we showed up in the afternoon… need to go and check it out .
I love the Marietta market! I have a lot of friends with booths there. Definitely check out Straight from the Backyard Garden, Lynn has some of the best veggies in town, and Judy’s dehydrated broccoli chips are AMAZING!

In the summer it’s Sat 9-12, and Sunday 12-3. In the winter it’s Sat 10-1. The hours are posted online and you can also see what vendors are there!

Oh Lindsey – that is a BEAUTIFUL picture of you two! Amazing that it came from a phone, because it is definitely frame-worthy! I’ve never been to Marietta Square but will have to check it out now. I just thought it was another place to shop in Atlanta 😉 It looks like you had a really wonderful weekend!

thank you! The square has lots of little shops, but the market is only the weekends, and they add Sunday when the weather is nicer. So much to buy and see!
