I’m cheating a little bit this week. I took TONS of pictures over the last few days, but I haven’t uploaded them yet. So, I present you with this little gem from last week. Mom, Nana and I took Red to the Riverbanks Zoo to see all the animals – his first trip as an outside baby. He really liked the penguins, monkeys and giraffes – things that were on his level and he didn’t have to look hard for.
We saw a few bronze statues throughout the park, and stopped to take a picture on this little elephant. Cute!
So cute!! That’s neat that they let you ride the elephants there. You’re not allowed to touch any of the animals at the zoo near us.
How did I know we were this close to each other? I’m in Augusta. :O
Fabulous shot!!!
My grandparents live in Irmo, SC, but we live in Atlanta – so still pretty close! 🙂
This was a bronze statue – but they DO have an entire barn full of farm animals you can pet and feed! You can feed the giraffes, llamas and a handful of birds, too!
Oh hahah, I see now! It does look surprisingly real on first glance though.
I really wish we had a petting farm near us, my kids would love it!!
This is such a sweet picture!! So adorable and cute!! We drove out to that zoo last year. We absolutely loved it. So much easier on the pockets.
So super cute! And, he’s getting so big.
so big. for reals.
