My friend Krystyn is always urging parents to get in on the picture. After all, it’s that you are there that counts. Not what you’re wearing, what your hair looks like; you’ve got to document that you actually exist with your kids. Every so often, I look through the last few weeks of my photos and there’s not a speck of me. Especially not me and the kids. So I’m trying to bolster this week with a special version of Mommy & Me… one featuring Santa. Mom and I took the kids to have lunch with Grandmartha, and after passing Santa’s booth, we had to get a picture with the big man himself.
I couldn’t convince Mom to get in there with me, but this photo of me and my babies is mighty nice. The last photo of me and Santa was at Riverbanks Zoo in South Carolina a number of years ago when all my cousins went together and I photoshopped my brother in! It never even made the blog… was it years ago, I think!
Have you been getting in the picture with your kids? I challenge you to turn the camera around and smile.

How did I miss this one?
I totally missed getting a picture of my kiddos all with Santa this year, too! I didn’t even realize it until Christmas Eve!
Such a great picture with you and the kiddos!
