Only a Mommy Monday….

This is the first week in a long time that I haven’t taken a picture of myself and Red.  It’s because the boys have packed up and gone off to NC, to cast a pilot show while I work myself into the ground, teaching school and working tech week at night. It makes for a long day, and it was easier for the boys to spend some quality time together than to arrange anything else.
I’ve not been alone in the house since before I was married.  Either Chase was here, Mom was visiting, or (of course during the last 3 years) Red was with me.  Even when I traveled, Red would follow. But since the guys have been on their trip, the only person I have to answer to is Doo.  It’s quiet, no cooking, no cleaning up after people, no questions, just me, me, me.  It’s pretty awesome…
But then, I look around, and I’m totally alone. No “Hey, Buddy… toast” from Red first thing in the morning, no kisses goodnight from Hubs, and no snuggling on the couch with anything but a hairy Doo.  I miss those boys! So, instead of a real Mommy and Me Monday, I’m putting up a little “I miss the boys Monday!”.  Here they are building a fort the very first day it snowed in 2014:
Then we went outside 3 days in a row and played in the snow until frozen noses and chilly toes forced us inside:
Boys: come home, soon! I miss you so much!

Keep on pushing on, even if it’s hard! You’ll be glad in the end!

Don’t beat yourself up. Running has its downside and even Olympic athletes have similar experiences. you did good. keep it up! 🙂

I would purchase local honey. I love that Kroger carries honey from a local bee farmer.

I’ve run the Princess the last two years. Just relax and have fun. My advice is to start slow for your pace because it is really humid. Have a blast.

The house is beautiful. I really love the old push button light switches.
