As Red gets older, he is rapidly out-developing or outgrowing his books and toys. The duplicate/old stuffed animals are ready to have new homes via Goodwill or consignment sales, so it was high time that we emptied out the toy box out and made a giveaway bag (or two!).
What you don’t see here is the pile of oversized items (ball popper, Batman lair, ride on toys) to the left of the toy box! One whole bag pulled out was a great success for us!
Another tip for this week: If you read magazines or have many subscriptions, recycle the issues you’ve already read or that are more than 3 months old. Even bathroom guests don’t want to read those! It will cut down on clutter and streamline your coffee table. If you’re dying to keep that one recipe, look it up on the magazine’s website and book mark it. Alternatively, you can clip it out and out it in your scrappy cookbook.
What did you work on this week! Please leave a comment, or link up to your project this week!

I need to be doing this. I hate the work of de-cluttering. I should probably do it as I go.

It’s never too late to join in! Get a small project going this week and join in next week! 🙂

We’ve done a little purging already!
FYI: Instead of recycling the magazines, check with local art teachers..they are always looking for magazines to cut up. The high school I worked at never had enough!
