It’s Tubes Time. As you may be reading this, (Monday morning) Red, Hubs and I are at the hospital getting prepped for surgery and our procedure. We’re ready with snacks and blankies when Red wakes up, and only the rest of the day will tell how he recovers from anesthesia. I hear that nausea or crankiness may play a factor, or he could be perfectly fine and be playing with toys all afternoon. I’ll admit that I’m more nervous than anyone about my little man “going under”, but I fully trust our doctor. Keep your fingers crossed for a speedy recovery, and I’ll keep you updated!

Thinking of you! Amelia has been under anesthesia four times – three eye surgeries and an MRI. It is hard, but it will go by quickly. He will do fine and you can snuggle him all day long. I understand your worries – I had them each and every time, even though we were eventually “pros” at it. Good luck! Let us know how he does through recovery. Hugs!
