Red’s First Movie: Disney’s Frozen

The Redhead family roof was being redone this weekend, which meant a lot of banging, ripping, tearing and nailing.  The noise and activity was more than we could bear at a point, so the whole family took off to the movie theatre to take in a matinee.  Red is 2.5 now, so the thought of him sitting still for 2 hours is dicey, but we had confidence that we could make it through with snacks and holding.
And we did! One potty break (that also helped us get away from a scary monster), a bucket of popcorn to share and lots of holding later, we emerged from the theatre as happy as we could be.  Red loved Elsa, with her snow powers, and even recognizes her at home.  Our local theatre chain is NGC, and while this post is far from sponsored, our family does love the business model of the theatre, from the check in to self-serve sodas and popcorn dust.  It’s the only way to go to the movies!
We snapped a few family shots to document our trip and headed home to check on the roof process,  I can’t wait to see what Red’s next movie will be!

Love the NGC theater in Newnan (south of GA where we used to live). I think the self serve drinks is a genius idea, as is the free popcorn refills! I also found them to be cleaner than the other theaters in the area. Frozen was SUCH an amazing movie, and I don’t say that about many movies. I really did enjoy it, and the music too!

I still haven’t seen this and keep telling my Hubs I want to go see it. Our Grandson would love it if we took him.

What a fun post. I don’t think I have tried either of these two but I love yogurt, especially Greek. Going to grab one of these the next time I am yogurt shopping.

The pics are funny but I’m on the Chobani team. I love Yoplait because there are a few more flavors but Chobani to me tastes a lot better, lot smoother. 🙂

I LOVE FROZEN! My kids make me listen to the soundtrack over and over and over. And I’m not complaining. My husband laughed at me because I just love kids movies LOL

I haven’t tried the Yoplait Greek yet. I do really enjoy Greek yogurt, though. Love your shirt, your editing skills are great.

Movies with the kids is one of the most fun activities. There is something very special about going to the movies with our children.
