If you’ve read the blog this week, you’ll know of the copyright infringement/stolen identity that occurred on the Redhead Baby Mama Facebook page. It was hurtful, shocking, and scary.
All has been resolved, complete with apology and deletion of stolen photos. I was very happy about that. But it’s a reminder of what power the internet holds and how you really have to look after yourself, your intellectual property and the well being of your family. I am happy to say that I will continue to watermark every single one of my photos, and now Mommy and Me Monday is even more important to me so that I appear in more photos. (Lessens baby photo theft).
But to cheer us up a bit, Red got some new postcards in the mail. He’s been collecting them since he was born. We have some from Chinatown in CA, Hoover Dam, North Carolina, and even Paris, France. Nana sent us some from her trip along the Eastern Seaboard – North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C that we got all this week. Thank you!!
Paris had been the farthest traveled card – until this week! A former student of mine traveled to study in China, and while she was there, she sent us not one but TWO postcards!
Thank you, FeFe! We LOVE them, and felt SO special when they came all that way!
I’m glad everything was resolved. It is so cool to get a postcard from China.
It’s the farthest away we’ve collected! 🙂
