Yesterday marked our annual trek to see The Big Guy. It took me a little while to snag an appointment that worked with our schedule, but despite pulling Red from school and missing a nap, it worked! Red has never been afraid of any seasonal character… Easter Bunny, Santa, or even strangers (which is a great and also very scary thing). He was right at home talking to Santa and telling him that he wanted “a prize” for Christmas. “What kind of prize?”, Santa asks. “A prize for me” Red detailed softly, which makes these Xmas elves very happy with their easy job.
The cute outfit is a Lands End embroidered pant (bulldogs, of course!) with white button up and cream sweater vest to match the bulldogs. I’m just happy that our old buck shoes from Easter still fit so we didn’t have to wear junky sneakers in the picture. I’m sure Mom would be happy about that, too. And gah-lleeee, isn’t that Santa the most beautiful one you’ve ever seen? Perfect hair curls, a complexion that would make Snow White jealous and velvet pants. Gorgeous.
And someone spotted me to the side taking photos and shot some sweet smiles in my direction. Stealthy little guy. If he would only pay that kind of attention at school, we’d be golden!
Have you and your kids started your Christmas traditions yet?

Can I just say first that your boy has the cutest smile in the world! He is so cute! I wonder what “prize” he asked Santa for? 🙂
And you’re correct, this Santa is soooooo Santa!
