I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Folgers. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
My newfound love for a cup of morning coffee is growing (Find my free printable for your coffee bar here!). Since Scarlett has been born, I’ve had at least 5 cups a week of decaf. Adorned with milk and sugar, I discovered the common name for my preference was “Cafe au Lait.” Though I might like it a little sweeter than the corner shop with make it, I love adding vanilla, mocha or even a dash of caramel at the register. It’s not something I’ve been able to do at home because I’m either moving too fast in the morning or I just don’t have the patience to create homemade mixes for my coffee bar.
Because I’m a creature of habit and like my coffee “just so,” it’s become my morning wake up. It’s replaced the glass of milk from my childhood to wake me up, and the instant I get a whiff of vanilla laced coffee, I begin to feel a little more sane. I’ve been a fan of flavor drops to add to my water in order to get me to hydrate more often and keep things interesting in the water department, so why wouldn’t I do the same for my new favorite beverage? Folgers just came out with 4 sweetened flavor additions for your morning coffee that lets me customize my mug the way I it. Available in Hazelnut, Vanilla, Mocha and Caramel, the drops work in both iced or hot coffees. My favorite part about them is that the containers of powerful flavor are so small, I can keep them in the car for road coffees! Because they don’t need refrigeration, my flavors never overheat or spoil like some other homemade flavor mixes I’ve made in the past. In fact, on a recent trip, a colleague remarked that she loved the vanilla ones so much and kept them in her travel bag just so she could feel at home in the mornings with whatever coffee she could find!
This #RemixYourCoffee YouTube Video created by Mike Tompkins is a cool way to finish off your morning mug and put a pep in your step. It’s a very unique, a-capella mashup of the original Folgers commercials. Can you hear the jingle in there?
