Why are they called “Gobbler”? There’s two reasons, I think. #1: They are made with turkey. #2: They are soooo good you’ll gobble them up before your kids do! These were super easy, and delicious! We got this meal from our @eMeals planner – delicious!
Gobbler Crescents Recipe
Turkey Gobbler Crescents
Servings: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 9oz package of thinly sliced turkey meat
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- poppy seed dressing
- 1 fuji or gala apple
Instructions
- Unroll crescents, dividing into 4 portions. Pinch seams together to form 4 large rectangles.
- Spread a very thin layer of poppy seed dressing on the crescent dough.
- Layer 2-3 slices of turkey
- Layer some thinly sliced apple pieces on top of the turkey
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top
- Fold crescent dough in half, creating a pocket-like shape
- Bake as directed on dough package, perhaps adding 2-3 more minutes or until golden
