Looking back on my weekend in photos, there were an awful lot of selfies! From Red and my efforts potty training to the two television wrap parties with Hubs, we sure did document our activities! The end of last week saw Red using the potty for #2 8 times in 6 days.
EPIC success, mostly driven by him, with me asking if he needed to go #2 a few times. Mostly, he was up and running for the potty with me dashing behind him, throwing whatever I was working on into the air. Pants down, plop him on the potty and away he went. Sometimes for several minutes telling me, “It’s coming, Mama!” I know, TMI, but hey – when you’ve been potty training for a year, you go with it… Success was rewarded with suckers, celebration and facetime calls to my Mom (Red requested!). When we last visited St. Louis for my Dad’s birthday, my parents gave him a gag gift shirt that says, “I Pooped Today!”… there was lots of wearing of this shirt!
A few bloggers I pal around with got together for a kid-free tapas and cocktail dinner at a local restaurant, and while we were taking plenty of selfies and enjoyably tweeting each other, it was nice to be out at and not have any obligation to work on our phones. Thanks, Meghan for planning it all!
Saturday night was the Cinemax Banshee wrap party, and it was so loud (music, people, everything) we were shouting into each other’s cheeks all night… we all left half deaf and with no voices, so that was no fun, but we were able to screen an unaired episode, and it was great. Congrats to Hubs and his partner for a great season!
The USA Network Satisfaction wrap party the next night was so much better. It was hosted on the airy patio and party room of Shout, in downtown Atlanta, and the food was soooooo good. Tapas, sushi, sliders, crudites, everything for every palette. The service was amazing, too, and I made sure to let the restaurant know that they were handling over 350 people effortlessly. Check out the cool photobooth and props that we had fun with!
Lastly, I made Hubs take a few selfies with me because hey, we were on a selfie roll, ya know? He’s such a cutie. I think I’ll keep him π
Did you take any selfies this weekend?
Looks like you’ve been having so much fun. π
Congrats on the potty training!!
I should be better about taking selfies. I did take a few this past week. I am really working on getting out from behind the camera where I have a bad habit of hiding. π
I was in Disney last week and there were a few selfies over on Instagram, but more pics of my kids than me π
That’s a whole lot of awesome selfies, especially those awesome chicks in the middle, but maybe I’m biased!
I will definitely see you there! I expect a hug! π
I would love to go to this but it is the same weekend my husband has training out of town. Maybe next year I can finally hit up a conference. They always fall either too far away or at the wrong time for me.
It looks like you had an amazing weekend! Great picture of you and those other familiar blogging faces.
Looks like a FUN weekend!!
It looks like you’ve been busy! The photos look like a lot of fun. π
I have some of a media kit done but not all the parts. It’s been on my to-do list for far too long.
Some day I’ll make a conference. Looks so fun!
Hi Jennifer, you can find FSU jello jigglers on http://www.walmart.com/ip/JELL-O-Jigglers-Florida-State-University-Strawberry-Mold-Kit-6-pc/37532097 #TeamJellO #client
Take a peek here: They have a TON of teams π http://www.walmart.com/search/?query=jello%20university%20mold%20kits
But you can always go old school and just make jello squares in your team colors!
right?! My first attempt was a total failure… delicious, but a failure!
I grew up a gamecock! The day UGA and USC play each other, I can’t lose! Maybe I’ll get both teams and go for it….
Try looking here: http://www.walmart.com/search/?query=jello%20university%20mold%20kits They have tons of teams!

GOoooooooOOOOOooooOOO Dawgs!
Hurrah that you get to go. I hope you have a wonderful time, and learn lots of cool stuff. π
I would pin that π
We went to Walmart yesterday and I looked- we got Tarheels! They’re in the fridge, setting now. π
I wish I could go! Maybe next year. Travel is just SO expensive!
I would love to go to this conference! Too bad it is way too far away to travel too for me.
I attended the very first Type-A. It was awesome!
Type-A is one of the best conferences I have been too. Can’t wait to go again and everyone should go at least once!
This looks like it was an awesome time! I would like to go to the next one.
It’s my favorite conference! I go every single year and I’ve never missed one!
I have a friend that hits as many blogger conferences as she can. She said they’re usually totally awesome.
