My due date is rapidly approaching and I’m starting to nest up. I made Chase play nursery tetris with all our furniture to make sure it’s going to fit, function, and look great (right after we paint it….). I’m happy with the way it’s all turning out, but as the weeks are flying by, I’m also starting to get nervous. Are we going to be ready?? Yes, it’s true that all you need for baby is a carseat, diapers and a boob, I like to be a little more prepared than that. I’m lucky that we kept nearly everything from Red’s birth and childhood, so while I don’t need to endless supply of little man clothes, all the burp cloths, baby gear and bottles are being washed and readied for use. I’m also stocking up for baby with diapers, detergent, paper towels and other household necessities I don’t want to run out of.
I ran out to snag a HUGE box of Pampers size 1s on rollback, as well as a big bottle of Tide Simply Clean to try out. It looks like it smells so fresh, and has lots of baking soda in it tackle the stinky stuff, like spit up. That’s the WORST smell I can think of. Other things I’m collecting to stock up on:
- Diapers in every size
- Supplements and vitamins for me
- Cleaning supplies like Bounty paper towels or Charmin TP for the household
- Toiletries for baby, and diaper bag essentials like rash cream, powder, etc
From now until April 30th, 2015 (ya’ll need to hurry!) you can purchase your favorite P&G products with tons of savings. Some items that are on rollback with guaranteed low prices are Tide detergent, Charmin, Bounty, Luvs and Pampers, and Always! Walmart’s Stock and Save Flyer has even more deals than the ones I took advantage of. Take a peek here: April Stock and Save Flyer.
