A perfect set of photos that shows you, the readers, how I tried to get a quick photo of Red with the turkey craft we made the other day. But he is WAY TOO BUSY to sit still for a camera. Sure, he’ll smile for YOU or Dooley, or something else, but when the camera comes out, he’s gone like a flash. On to the next activity, touching, playing running, etc. It’s been like pulling teeth to get some photos of him smiling lately.
So, now, I give you a series of photos, instead of one with a great big Red-smile.
the best one I got |
Even Doo stood still for a shot |
Hubs trying to sit WITH him, but Red had other plans |
This last photo really tells our story. Hubs, sitting and smiling. Dooley merely observing all the chaos and Red trying to pull down all the birdfeeders from the hook. Taking this on purpose, it’s a great example of our days lately. Running, playing, and me trying to catch up and document our lives. The key word being trying.
Pièce de résistance |
To the 16 year old Red that will one day see this post. I don’t know why you were so busy. I know you had to learn, play, run, crawl, and experience everything. But for goodness sake, I just wanted you to show the camera that wonderful smile that you show me all day long. You were a happy happy child with enough energy to run us all ragged. I love you. Lots. Now smile for the birdy….
