Valentine’s Day was always so exciting for me as a kid. Mom/Cupid would leave little candies and maybe some socks or new underwear on the breakfast bar for us; a little gift to make us feel included and loved. The best surprises were always the Underoos or fuzzy socks. As I got older, the chocolates were always eaten first and the fuzzy socks got put on immediately (before the cereal) to warm my feet in the cold winter morning. I still have the little red wire basket that she saved each year and lovingly placed by my breakfast plate.
Now that Red is old enough to fully comprehend and participate in holidays, I’ve procured him and Scarlett their own little Valentines bins. I’m still thinking of what extras to leave them, but have some sweet PEEPS® prizes all ready. Red is eager to help create anything, whether it be food, crafts, or cleaning up. These cute little Valentine printable signs are the perfect Valentine’s word play to tie onto treats with bright red floss. Be sure to sign your name at the bottom near the colored heart.
Aren’t they super cute?! I know my husband had my heart on a string… who would you send this cute thing too?
