Sweetness is in the air! Valentine’s Day always makes me crave chocolate, sweets and bubbly drinks.  There’s something about all the pinks, reds and snowy whites decorating every corner that makes me cheer up.  It’s really the next best holiday to Christmas for all the yummy desserts that appear from nowhere!  For a special treat, make these Valentine’s Day Muddy Buddies with your kids and pour cupfuls into beribboned cellophane bags to hand out.

Valentine's Day Muddy Buddies: Mix a traditional Muddy Buddies Recipe together with Valentine's Hearts to create a lovely snack mix!

As a twist on classic puppy chow, this Valentine’s Day snack mix combines Chex mix, chocolate, peanut butter, and seasonal conversation hearts.  It’s easy, fun, and yummy to make!

This looks so yummy. It would make a great afternoon snack while I am working. My favorite treat for Valentine’s Day is chocolate.

This would be a great snack for my kids. That is if I don’t eat it up first.

This is a great snack for my kids. Well that is if I don’t eat it all before they can try it.

What a fun idea! I love Muddy Buddies but for some reason around here we always called it “puppy chow”. Muddy Buddy sounds much better than puppy chow!
