Hubs and I have decided that we are going to tile the guest bathroom. In our 13 year old house, no one has ever thought to pull up the god-awful linoleum and replace it with tile or SOMETHING nicer. The installation quality was fine, but come on, people, it was UGLY. We brought little Red to the store with us, and picked out the tile, potty, and all the stuff that goes with it. Here’s Red, happy as can be:

So we lugged all the stuff home, our giant toilet cramming in the backseat safely strapped near Red. Once we got home, we had en entirely different problem. With our hands full of demo, mortar, and grout, who was going to watch Red?? Some of the projects (toilet removal and haul to the garage) required two people. I’m not going to place a little monkey that can roll all the way to Texas alone in a room that’s not yet baby-proof (I’m getting to it!). But I don’t want to sit him in front of the TV all day, either.
Cue the Jumperoo, Cozy Coupe and Pack n’ Play. Since Red isn’t self standing yet, we were safe putting him in these brilliant contraptions and pulling him into viewing distance while we worked. Thankfully, our bathroom is near the large hallway and DIRECTLY across from Red’s room, which allowed us to keep an eye on him. So we started.

Sounds like you’ve done great so far! Lol If your ever in a bind though, try asking a family member to take him for a few hours or even just come over and keep him entertained while you work. Good luck!
