Sometimes, you need a dinner date with your spouse. Sometimes, the babysitter isn’t available. Sometimes you wish that you could just have planned ahead for that one night of sweetness. But, if you find yourself with your sweetheart and your babies, know that you can always escape for a moment of indulgence at Seasons52. The approachable, gourmet restaurant has new mini indulgences that you can order by the single or the flight of nine, and they are the perfect bite of sweetness when you can only manage that one bite (or that one hour out).
Season’s 52 is a business casual restaurant, with all the pomp of a high end restaurant with all the feel good of an intimate environment that you can bring your friends to. While I don’t normally see many kiddos at this restaurant, they do have high chairs and a sweet little kids menu. The wait staff as well as the Chef were very kind to Red and made us feel totally welcome as we sampled the new menu items.
First of all, I had never tried the flatbreads before – they are like thin crust pizzas, over 18″ long, served on wooden slats and piping hot. One is enough to share as an appetizer for 3, or a small meal for one. I had the Goat Cheese and Artichoke, while Hubs chose the Pesto Chicken (which was awesome).
The flatbread for Red? Served with marinara and mozzarella, pizza style. One of his most favorite foods! (And a coy look to go with it).
These little desserts retail for about $2.50 each, and range in flavors like lemon curd and blueberry, carrot cake, key lime, southern pecan pie, chocolate peanut butter torte, and Red’s super favorite, belgian chocolate S’More. It’s the ONLY time I’ve ever seen his ask for more when chocolate is involved. I ate the entire pecan pie, while Hubs savored every drop of the peanut butter torte.
Needless to say, we stuffed our faces with all the goodness that Seasons52 has to offer, and we will certainly be back for me. Take a look at the menu – what mini indulgence would you order first?
Everything is so good and that would totally keep me from stuffing my face with portions that came out in smaller serving sizes!

My husband and I love Seasons 52. The hardest thing is deciding which dessert to get! They all look so good when they come to the table…I just want to pick them all lol.

I love little dessert tastings like this. I went to a restaurant where they had little tasting spoons for appetizers but I would have totally loved it for dessert!
